Our last day of Week 1 was busy, busy, busy.
We started the day off by having the artists finish any previous works that they didn’t get a chance to complete.
Then, for our activity, we made pop-up cards.
Our example involved making pop-up trees, but the artists were infinitely more creative, crafting monsters, hearts and their own family members.
Afterwards, we spent some time picking out our favorite pieces of artworks to display in the exhibition. The artist chose his or her favorite work; if he or she could not decide, everyone voted.
It was serious work.
As a final project before the end of the week, we took a a group photograph and decorated a frame for it.
Finally, it was time for the exhibition.
